It looks like a new Asian restaurant could be on its way to Cambridge, and it may be moving into the space where another Asian eatery currently resides.

According to a license commission hearing agenda page, Mae Asian Eatery is seeking a common victualler license to operate on Main Street between Central Square and Kendall Square, with the address being the same as that of Beijing Tokyo. The notice says that the new dining spot would have seating for 20 and would apparently be open for lunch and dinner daily, with the proposed manager being Yuri Asawasittikit. Little else is currently known about Mae Asian Eatery so check back for updates on this as well as the exact status of Beijing Tokyo (the meeting is scheduled for tomorrow).

The address for the proposed Mae Asian Eatery (and Beijing Tokyo) is 781 Main Street, Cambridge, MA, 02139.
