Man Accused of Stabbing Children Held on $100K

The person police say is responsible for stabbing three children in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood over the weekend is being held on $100,000 after his arraignment on Monday.

Fifty-one-year-old Rock Aurelien was arraigned on charges of three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and three counts of armed assault with intention to murder.

Auerlien will also have to wear a GPS monitoring device pending a release on a bail. He is not permitted to communicate with the mother of the children or the kids themselves while officials investigate the incident.

Police say Aurelien knew the children, ages 15, 11 and 9, as a friend of their family.

Surveillance video shows the children running into a convenience store asking for help.

Fortunately, the two younger boys and the older girl are expected to be okay.
