Man Arrested After 10-Mile, 2-State Car Chase

The chase went from Attleboro to Route 1A into Pawtucket, Rhode Island before heading back into Attleboro

Police have arrested a man they say led officers on a 10-mile, two-state car chase that ended when he crashed into a curb underneath a railroad bridge in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

The chase began with reports of an erratic driver at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on South Avenue.

The Sun-Chronicle of Attleboro reports that authorities believe the incident may have stemmed from a domestic issue.

The chase went from Attleboro to Route 1A into Pawtucket, Rhode Island before heading back into Attleboro. Speeds were reported at about 40 mph by police.

Police say the car crashed at South Main and Capron streets.

A female passenger was treated at an area hospital. Her injuries were not believed to be not serious.

Police are looking into reports that the passenger may have been held against her will.
