Man Arraigned in String of Boston Sexual Assaults

A man suspected in four separate sexual assaults in Boston's Brighton neighborhood is being held on $50,000 bail after his arraignment Tuesday.

Steven Lent, 26, of Allston, was arrested Friday, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said.

The alleged assaults occurred on two separate occasions over the last year: two on May 4, and the other two on Aug. 14, 2014. Authorities released surveillance images related to all of the incidents, which they say led them to Lent.

If Lent is released on bail, he must surrender his passport, abide by a curfew, and stay out of Allston and Brighton. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 14.
