Man Charged With Killing 3 Neighbors Indicted

Salvatore Guglielmino remains held without bail after pleading not guilty in district court

A North Andover, Massachusetts, man charged with fatally beating three neighbors in a public housing complex for the elderly and disabled has been indicted on three counts of murder.

The Eagle-Tribune reports that the indictment moves the case to Superior Court. Salvatore Guglielmino, who remains held without bail after pleading not guilty in district court, is scheduled for arraignment April 30.

Prosecutors say the 57-year-old Guglielmino killed 78-year-old Walter Hamilton; 79-year-old George Kettinger Jr., and 68-year-old Frank Kort on Jan. 6. Each victim was found in his own apartment suffering blunt force trauma to the face. The four men lived in different units in the same building.

Authorities have not disclosed a motive.

Guglielmino's lawyer says his client denies committing a crime. His family says he suffers from mental illness.
