A Massachusetts man pleaded not guilty to the rape of a child on Friday.
Sixty-eight-year-old Robert Mason Sr. of Milton is accused of raping a child he knows under 14.
He also faces an indecent assault and battery charge.
Mason was ordered to be held on $1,000 bail, which police believe he is on the process of posting. He can have no contact with anyone under 18 and had to hand over any firearms.
The suspect is due back in court on June 5 for a pre-trial conference.
