    Man Dies in Condo Garage Fire in Lowell

    A man died and another person was hospitalized early Tuesday morning after a 1 alarm fire broke out at a condo in Lowell, Massachusetts.

    Firefighters responded to the building at 30 Angle St. just before 2 a.m., where the fire was coming from the condo's first-floor garage, with flames going up the side of one unit.

    Firefighters discovered a 31-year-old man dead inside the garage. The Lowell Sun reports the unidentified victim was 31 years old.

    Four other residents inside the building were able to escape the flames. One of those victims was taken to an area hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation; the Sun reports the hospitalized victim is a woman.
