Man Injured in Dover, NH Fire

Fire officials say 49 year old had significant burn injuries

Officials in Dover, NH, are investigating a fire that left a 49-year-old man with "significant burns."

Firefighters responded to the Strafford Farms restaurant at 58 New Rochester St. early Saturday morning where they found the injured man outside the building. An ambulance took the man to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.

He was later transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dover Fire and Rescue quickly extinguished the blaze, which caused minor damage to the outside of the building. Police and the Office of the State Fire Marshal are investigating.

A Dover police statement did not identify the injured man or the apparent cause of the fire.
