Man Killed, Woman Arrested for OUI After Tractor-Trailer Crash

Massachusetts State Police say the incident happened between Exit 21 and 22 on 495 southbound just after midnight Wednesday

A man is dead after being struck by a tractor-trailer, driven by a woman police say was drunk, on I-495 in Milford, Massachusetts.

Just after midnight Wednesday morning, state police say 29-year-old Benjamin Macaskill of Bristol, Connecticut, left the truck after having a disagreement with 26-year-old driver Kimberly Prescott, also of Bristol.

Macaskill was hit and killed by the tractor-trailer between Exits 21 and 22 on I-495 southbound.

Prescott was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol. She was arraigned Wednesday in Milford.

Officials say there were three other people in the truck in the time. They were not injured.

All lanes of the highway were closed for about an hour.

Prescott was released on personal recognizance after prosecutors had requested a $1,000 bail. She's due back in court on July 13.
