Man on Most Wanted List Found Hiding Under Sink

A man who was on a most wanted list for allegedly causing substantial injury to a baby was found hiding under a sink in Belchertown, Massachusetts, Wednesday morning.

Keith Truehart, 30, was sought on two arrest warrants, one of which for the assault on the baby, which was his girlfriend’s daughter.

Police responded to a call on Nov. 15, 2014, for a baby that supposedly. The infant had significant bruising and injuries which were inconsistent with a fall. When taken to a hospital it was learned that the infant sustained two previous rib fractures and that the injuries were inflicted by someone.

Upon investigation police determined Truehart was alone with the child and fled before police arrived.

Massachusetts State Police located Truehart in his girlfriend’s apartment under her sink in a makeshift hideout made from wood and sheet rock.

He will be arraigned on charges of assault and battery on a child, intimidation of a witness and destruction of property.
