Police in Boston were called to investigate separate stabbing scenes Friday morning, including one fatal.
A man was stabbed in the area of 535 River St. in Mattapan. just before 3 a.m., according to police.
Authorities said the victim, later identified as 58-year-old Jocelin Nordeus of Mattapan, was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he later died.
Another stabbing took place near Faneuil Hall in the area of 165 State St. at about 2 a.m.
Police said two men from that scene were taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made in either case. The investigations are ongoing.
