NH Woman Takes Over Hillary Clinton's Twitter Account for a Day

Mary Jo Brown was handed the reins to Clinton's campaign Twitter account for the day on Thursday

A New Hampshire woman is getting the chance to be Hillary Clinton for a day - at least on Twitter.

Mary Jo Brown, owner of Brown & Company Design in Portsmouth, was handed the reins to Clinton's campaign Twitter account for the day on Thursday. Using the handle "Mary Jo for Hillary," she's been tweeting out information about herself, her kids, her job, and pictures of various places around Portsmouth.

This is the first time the Clinton campaign has tried this, but they're hoping to do it again in the future.

"We're very excited about it," said Julie McClain, the campaign's New Hampshire press secretary. "We wanted to work with Mary Jo because not only is she a small business owner, but she's involved in the design and tech industry."

Brown is a New Hampshire native, and started her company in 1992. It began as a print design firm but later adapted to include web design.

Clinton is scheduled to make her second campaign trip to New Hampshire on Friday, with stops in Hampton and Exeter. What can be done to help out small businesses is expected to be a key focus of her trip.
