Police Searching for Dog, Owner After Canine Kills Another Dog

Authorities in New Hampshire are searching for a dog and its owner after the dog fatally attack another canine in a park last Friday.

New Castle police say the attack happened Friday afternoon at the New Castle Commons.

It's unclear what led to the attack, but the attacking dog was described as a husky mix, and the dog's owner was described as an "older gentleman" who was wearing camouflage-pattern pants.

Both the man and his dog left the park in a dark-colored, possibly dark red, pick-up truck.

Anyone who may have seen the attack or seen the man and his dog leave the park or know the man's identity is asked to call New Castle police at 603-436-3800 or through the Rockingham County Dispatch at 603-679-2226.
