Authorities say a driver was killed when his car struck a tree overnight in Norton, Massachusetts.
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. at 96 Maple Street, Norton police say.
The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation reveals the man lost control of his vehicle before crashing into the tree.
Norton police and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.
