Not Your Average Joe's in Needham Is Closing

A local chain of restaurants is going to be closing one of its older locations.

According to a poster on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Not Your Average Joe's in Needham is planning to shut down after approximately 20 years in business, with a source within the company confirming that the Chapel Street location will indeed be closing on April 30. The reason given for the closure is that the lease is up on the space and with the success of its new locations in Westwood and Waltham, the company has decided not to renew the lease.

In addition to its Needham, Westwood, and Waltham outlets, other locations of Not Your Average Joe's can be found in Acton, Arlington, Burlington, Dartmouth, Hyannis, Methuen, Norwell, Peabody, Randolph, Seekonk, Watertown, and Westborough, along with a handful of locations in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
