Rhode Island investigators say one person was shot in Cranston's Park Avenue early Sunday morning.
WJAR NBC 10 reported that the shooting was apparently part of a series of incidents that occurred around 1 a.m. in that area.
One person suffering from a gunshot wound was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment, according to fire officials. Three other people were taken for treatment of other types of injuries. One unconfirmed report indicates one of those victims may have been hit by a car near where the shooting occurred, WJAR reports.
