Overturned FedEx Truck Shuts Down Part of I-95N in Westwood

Emergency crews responded to an overturned FedEx delivery truck on Interstate 95 in Westwood, Massachusetts Monday morning.  

Police shut down Interstate 95 northbound between Exits 13 and 14 for part of the morning as they work to clear the scene. 

Officials say no one was injured. 

Packages were seen scattered around the truck. It's unclear whether the packages are still expected to arrive at their destination on time. 

Officials at the scene tell NBC 10 Boston the truck may have been cut off by another driver.

"First and foremost, we are grateful there were no serious injuries as a result of the accident in Westwood today," FedEx said in a statement. "FedEx Ground quickly dispatched teams to assist in the cleanup of the area. Package recipients in the Westwood area are being notified if their shipments are affected. those that can be delivered today will be by the end of the day.
