PD: Man Burglarized Home, Held 2 Women Against Their Will

Justin Provencher, 27, was arrested following the burglary Monday

Police in Goffstown, New Hampshire, have arrested a man accused of breaking into a home and holding two women against their will as he burglarized the apartment.

Justin Provencher, 27, was arrested following the burglary Monday.

Officers responded to a home in the area of Pinegrove Ave for a report of a burglary in process. They found a window smashed and a door kicked in.

Police say Provencher was seen riding a bicycle down a trail around the same time, but they did not arrest him until video surveillance matched with his description.

Investigation showed two women were in the apartment at the time and were prevented for opening the door for police.

Provencher was charged with burglary and kidnapping. He also had an outstanding warrant for criminal mischief in another jurisdiction.

He is being held on $25,000 bail until his arraignment Tuesday.

It was not immediately clear if he has an attorney.
