Crew Rescues Woman from Under Train at South Station

A person was struck by a Red Line subway train at South Station Saturday, according to the MBTA.

At approximately 12:15 p.m. a Boston Fire Dept. rescue crew arrived on the scene and was able to crawl under the train and extricate the woman.

The woman was taken by Boston EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

Shuttle buses repaced train service from JFK/UMASS to Park Street until 1:30 p.m.
