Plymouth Man Charged for Allegedly Cyberstalking Girlfriend

Court documents describe a harrowing ordeal for a 30-year-old woman, only identified as a Massachusetts resident.

Her former boyfriend is accused of anonymously stalking her through social media.

Prosecutors allege that 29-year-old Joseph Kukstis of Plymouth was harassing the woman while the two dated and after they broke up.

He’s accused of sending her countless messages, many of which are x-rated.

Some of the messages that NBC10 Boston can report: “You’re gross...kill your self...You’re worthless nobody will ever love you…I’m gunna make ur life miserable.”

The harassment continued for over two years and from different phone numbers according U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling.

Kukstis allegedly used his cell phone to send messages via Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and other social media accounts.

He even sent harassing messages to himself, according to prosecutors, to prove to the victim he wasn’t the culprit.

But eventually he sent her an email, according to court documents, that reads “it was me the entire time, I hate myself for it.”

The defendant is being held pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for later this week.

He could spend up to 5 years in prison if convicted.

NBC10 tried to reach his family at their Plymouth home but a woman inside screamed to get off the property and she would be calling police.
