1 Police Cruiser Mangled, Another Damaged in 3-Vehicle Crash

The involved officers and the K-9 are doing okay following the crash on Route 122

A crash involving police officers and a police dog from two Massachusetts towns left debris strewn across a road in Rutland Friday evening.

The involved officers and the K-9 are doing okay, the Rutland Police Department said on Facebook.

Aerial footage from the NBC10 Boston SkyRanger showed the aftermath of the major crash on Route 122.

A police cruiser from Rutland was left mangled by the impact. A second police vehicle from neighboring Paxton was also seen damaged.

Another car could be seen off the road in the woods. It also appeared to have suffered damage in the crash. It's unclear if there were any injuries to the car's driver.
