Two officers from the Newburyport, Massachusetts, Police Department rescued some ducklings that had fallen into a storm drain on Tuesday. [[307866161, L]]
Officers Eaton and Tierney were helped by some nearby residents on Lime St.
A young man who had followed the mother and the other siblings was able to direct the officers to a general location.
Sgt. Simons (not pictured) transported the ducklings about 1/4 mile away where they were ultimately reunited with their mother.
