PD: 1 Person Injured in Shooting in Randolph, Massachusetts; Suspect Still on the Loose

Police are searching for a suspect who they say shot a man at a Randolph, Massachusetts apartment complex on Wednesday afternoon before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Randolph police said the shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. at 28 Reed St.

Responding officers found the 26-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper thigh. He was taken by ambulance to a Boston hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Police said they believe the suspect targeted the victim and the shooting was not a random act.

No description of the suspect or the vehicle was immediately available, they said.

The incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.
