A high school student in Worcester, Massachusetts, is facing charges after he allegedly brought a BB gun to school on Monday.
Police say they were notified that a student brought a weapon to South High School, which led to a search of the student's locker. Police and the assistant school principal located an automatic BB gun in the student's backpack. No ammunition was located.
The 16-year-old male was arrested and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds.
This is the fourth weapon-related incident involving Worcester high school students within the past three weeks.
According to police, the investigation is on-going.
