Police: Teens Attacked Strangers in Boston Common

Two Dorchester teens who were a part of a larger group have been arrested for attacking a man and a woman on Boston Common.

Police say around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, a 16-year-old boy assaulted a 23-year-old man near Frog Pond. A 27-year-old woman that victim was with then took photos with her cell phone.

A 15-year-old girl attacked the woman and tried to take her cell phone.

The victims were able to call 911.

Police told the Boston Globe and confirmed to necn that the victims showed them the photos of the attackers.

The young suspects were both charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The girl was also charged with unarmed assault with attempt to rob.
