Adrienne A. Brown is being held on $500,000 cash bail

A Massachusetts woman who turned herself in was ordered held on $500,000 cash bail Monday during an arraignment in Fall River District Court.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says that 37-year-old Adrienne A. Brown of 477 Third St. in Fall River was wanted in connection to a murder over the weekend.

Police say 53-year-old Brian Jones was stabbed to death outside of the same address as Brown's home Saturday afternoon.

Brown has been charged with murder and aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

There's no word on the whereabouts of Brown's 19-year-old daughter, Quaneja Dkayal Groce-Brown, whom police also sought to speak with.

Brown is due back in court for a probable cause hearing on June 29.
