A little pup lost his way in the maze of the MBTA's tracks between Boylston and Park Streets Saturday night, according to the MBTA.
A trolley operator notified dispatch of the white dog and it was Green Line Inspector Tara Egan to the rescue!
Egan made her way to the tracks and retrieved the dog.
Animal Control was called to pick up the pup, but there was a detour to that plan.
Thanks to all the postings of the dog's adventure on Twitter, the family has been reunited.
