The fourth recreational pot shop in the eastern U.S. opened Friday in Wareham, Massachusetts.
Verilife on Main Street opened its doors at 10 a.m.
Wareham officials were expecting 200,000 customers to visit the store on its first day.
The following morning, Insa in Easthampton was set to become the state's fifth recreational pot shop.
New England Treatment Access in Northampton and Cultivate in Leicester opened last month, and Alternative Therapies Group in Salem opened Saturday.
The Cannabis Control Commission has approved recreational licenses for four more shops last week: Northeast Alternatives in Fall River, Theory Wellness in Great Barrington and Temescal Wellness' locations in Hudson and Pittsfield.
