Boston Red Sox pitcher David Price reportedly yelled at members of the Boston media following Wednesday night's 8-0 loss to the New York Yankees.

Price reportedly took issue with CSN Red Sox reporter Evan Drellich, pulling him aside after the game.

The Boston Herald reported that Price was seen yelling at Drellich in the hallway outside manager John Farrell's office. Earlier in the night, Drellich had tweeted out a quote from Price that appeared in a Boston Globe story where Price said he would no longer be doing personal interviews and would only speak to the media on days that he pitches.

"Talk to me on the day I pitch," Price told the Globe, "and that's it."

Drellich hasn't revealed what Price said to him, saying the conversation was meant to be private. He said only that Price "was directly unhappy with me" and "unhappy with how he's been treated in Boston."

The Herald's Steve Buckley said Price later yelled at him as well. He said the last words he heard from the Sox pitcher were "(Expletive) them! (Expletive) them all. All of them."

The 31-year-old left-hander signed a seven-year, $217 million contract with the Sox prior to the 2016 season. He won 17 games last year, but his ERA was the highest it had been in more than 10 years and he lost his one playoff start.

He started this season on the disabled list with a strained pitching elbow, but has looked good since returning to the mound on May 29. He is scheduled to face the Yankees on Thursday night.
