    Alex Cora in First Red Sox Spring Training Camp as Manager

    Red Sox spring training camp is underway, and one of the more interesting things to watch will be the relationship between new manager Alex Cora and star lefty pitcher David Price.

    Red Sox pitchers and catchers officially report to spring training Tuesday in Fort Myers, Florida.

    MLB.com reports that close to 20 players have already been working at The Fenway South complex for more than a week. Those players include Chris Sale, David Price, Jackie Bradley Jr., Rick Porcello and Eduardo Rodriguez.

    Rookie Manager Alex Cora spoke on Monday about how he envisions spring training.

    "I believe in quality work and being efficient," Cora said. "There's going to be short days. There's going to be long days."

    Fans and students gathered at Fenway Monday to watch the Red Sox equipment truck load up before departing for spring training.
