Red Sox Show Support for Bruins' Stanley Cup Run With Green Monster Message

The Boston Bruins have been receiving a lot of support from their fellow Boston-based teams over the course of their Stanley Cup run. And recently, the Boston Red Sox have voiced their support of the team.

The Red Sox moved up the start time of their Wednesday night game to 4:05 p.m. ET to ensure that the fans in attendance would have a chance to get home for the 8:00 p.m. ET puck drop in the Bruins game. Additionally, the team posted a pre-Game 7 message ahead of their game against the Rangers, via the team's official Twitter.

Certainly, the city of Boston and its fans can agree with that sentiment. And the Bruins will appreciate it as well as the Sox' support.

If the Bruins can take home the Cup on Wednesday night, it will mark the third championship trophy won by New England-based teams in the last calendar year. Previously, the Red Sox won the World Series while the New England Patriots took home their sixth Super Bowl title in February.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora is optimistic about the Bruins' chances of winning the Cup. He predicted a victory for the team in Game 7 and even went so far as to give a final score estimation for the contest.
