Rob Gronkowski Lands Significant New TV Gig

You're going to start seeing Rob Gronkowski on Sundays again. Just not in uniform.

FOX has hired the former New England Patriots tight end to appear as a regular analyst on its FOX NFL Sunday show, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday.

FOX Sports confirmed the reports in a tweet Tuesday, noting Gronkowski will make his broadcast debut on Thursday night ahead of the Patriots' game against the New York Giants.

That's a significant gig for Gronk, who now will appear alongside the likes of Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan and Tony Gonzalez on FOX's flagship pregame show.

Of course, Gronkowski's new endeavor doesn't preclude him from making an NFL comeback, as Jay Cutler and Jason Witten both have taken broadcast jobs only to return to the NFL.

But Gronk seems to be diving headlong into life after football, as he already has a partnership with CBDMedic, a company that produces a Cannabidiol-based pain relief medication.
