Sam Adams Releasing Special Beer to Celebrate Red Sox World Series Win

Samuel Adams is releasing a special beer to celebrate the Boston Red Sox World Series win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

At 5 p.m. Tuesday, the Boston-based brewer says it will be releasing Damage Done Double IPA in honor of the Sox. The Double New England IPA is 7.3 percent alcohol by volume and is aged on vanilla beans with guava, mango and lactose.

"The Boston Red Sox just won the world series after a historic regular season, and it’s our first year as the Official Beer of the Boston Red Sox. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. But either way, now it’s time to CELEBRATE!" the brewery said Monday in a statement. "Visitors to the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery can grab their freshly filled crowler of Damage Done along with a commemorative Red Sox koozie and posters to cheer on the Sox during their parade."

Damage Done Double IPA will be available through the end of the week.
