Another major winter storm is hitting New England this week. Here is how much snow each state has gotten as of March 12.

Around 7:30 a.m., eastbound traffic on the Mass Pike at the Oxford/Charlton line had to be shut down due to a jackknifed tractor trailer. No one was injured.

A 20 mph speed restriction is also in place on Interstate 90 from the New York border to I-95/Route 128 in Weston.

Crashes were also reported on I-95 in Attleboro and Foxboro shortly after 8 a.m.

Charlton and Mass. State police responded around 1:35 p.m. to a multi-vehicle accident on the Pike in Auburn, involving seven or eight cars and one police cruiser. Four ambulances were on scene, and multiple people were transported.

The trooper was injured in the crash. He was transported to UMass Medical Center with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.

Following the accident, MSP announced that the left and middle lanes of I-90E prior to Interchange 9 in Charlton are closed due to a jack-knifed tractor trailer. All lanes have since reopened.

Massachusetts State Police also responded around 2 p.m. to a jackknifed tractor trailer on I-495 northbound, north of exit 21 in Hopkinton, and another jackknifed tractor trailer on I-290 eastbound at exit 11 in Worcester. The accident in Worcester closed all lines on I-290, but they have since reopened.
