Humid Weather for Many, Downpours for Some

Downpours and thunderstorms continue to move through New England Wednesday, as humidity spikes and temperatures jump into the 70s and 80s.

Round one of downpours during the morning will give way to a break around midday. During the lunch hour, many places will be dry with breaks of sun and just some spot showers. It will also be breezy and muggy.

Round two of downpours and storms comes during the early to mid-afternoon in Western and Central Massachusetts, before that slides towards the coast between about 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Expect localized street flooding with the downpours, and perhaps some pockets of isolated wind damage.

After that point, the rain winds down and skies clear, leaving us with a much better evening as humidity drops and winds flip to the northwest.

Beautiful weather then arrives late in the week and continues into the weekend. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s with lots of sunshine and low humidity.

Humidity creeps back up Sunday, and there may be a pop-up storm in parts of Northern New England. But, it will still be nice for most places.
