A Massachusetts State Police trooper was injured when an alleged drunk driver struck his cruiser in Easton Monday night.
At 9 p.m., a marked cruiser was rear ended on Route 138 northbound, according to state police. Initial investigation revealed the cruiser was stopped at a traffic light when the vehicle was struck.
The trooper, Robert Bohn, was transported to Boston Medical Center by Easton EMS. He was treated for minor injuries and was released around 1 Tuesday morning.
His K-9 partner, "Wyatt," appeared to be "shaken up," but was not injured.
The motorist, 26-year-old Luke Anderson of Brockton, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and operating to endanger.
Anderson is expected to be arraigned Tuesday in Taunton District Court.
