String of Break-ins in Quincy under Investigation

Residents in Quincy, Massachusetts are being asked to remain vigilant after a recent string of break-ins in the city.

The first wave occurred in November in the area of Puritan Drive and Adams Street and again a week later in the North Quincy section of town. Residents were notified by the Quincy Police via the Nextdoor app about the break-ins, and it appeared the problem had stopped.

However, four more break-ins have been reported this week on North Central Avenue and Tyler, Everett and Belmont streets.

Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious behavior or vehicles in their neighborhood, particularly between the hours of 4 and 9 p.m.

Anyone with information regarding the break-ins is asked to call the Quincy Police Detectives Unit at 617-745-5764.
