Sunshine for Limited Time Before Downpours Return

The storm center with all the rain and wind Tuesday night is now moving into northern Quebec.

High pressure to our south brings plenty of sunshine Wednesday, with a high temperature close to 60 degrees. It will be breezy with gusts past 25 mph.

Another cold front pass over Wednesday night, with just a few clouds and a mountain snow flurry. Cooler air will then arrive from Canada Thursday under mostly sunny conditions. High temperatures will be in the 40s north and 50s south.

Yet, another cool wet system moves in Friday and it may be cold enough for snow in our mountains. Otherwise, it turns wet and stormy Friday night into early Saturday.

We will again have a windy Saturday afternoon, but it's too early to say how much impact it will have. The pick of the weekend once again looks like Sunday, Veterans Day, with cool and dry weather.
