Police in Springfield, Massachusetts, say the city's most recent murder suspect was high on PCP when he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death.
According to the Springfield Republican, Van Dorsey Jr. is being held without bail.
Police say the 27-year-old stabbed his 25-year-old girlfriend to death Tuesday night in an act of domestic violence.
He will be back in court next week for a competency hearing.
Police have still not released the victim's name.
