    Cab Driver Seriously Hurt in Stabbing

    A taxi driver was stabbed in Hyannis Monday while giving someone a ride.

    Police say a teenager has been arrested after stabbing a cab driver Monday on Cape Cod.

    Police in Barnstable, Massachusetts, responded to Camp Street in Hyannis around 7:30 p.m. A taxi driver called to report that he had been stabbed.

    The cab driver had apparent knife wounds on his upper torso, according to police.

    The victim was taken to Cape Cod Hospital, just three blocks away from where the attack took place.

    Authorities said a 19-year-old Bourne man was taken into police custody. The suspect's identity was not immediately revealed.
