Teens Charged in String of Robberies in Cambridge

Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a string of robberies in Cambridge.

The first two incidents occurred Friday night. Police were called to Fayette Street around 8:15 p.m. for a report of a robbery in which three juveniles allegedly demanded the victim's wallet while he was walking home.

Minutes later, officers were called to the area of Inman and Harvard streets for another robbery in which three juveniles demanded money from the victim.

Officers stopped two suspects who fit the victims' descriptions; they were subsequently positively identified by both victims.

The third suspect was found at his home, where officers were conducting a search warrant related to an armed robbery that occurred on Sept. 14 in the area of Harvard and Lee streets. The suspect is being summonsed for the Sept. 14 armed robbery as well as the two unarmed robberies.

Police have identified the suspects as one 16-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys. It is unclear if they have attorneys.
