Temperatures Climb Bringing Possible Record-Breaking Warmth

Today won’t be the sunniest day, but it will be mild. The average high temperature is 39 degrees and we will be 10 degrees warmer than that. It’s interesting to point out, temperatures for the month are already 3.1 degrees above average and that value will keep climbing over the next 10 days.

By Tuesday, temperatures will climb into the middle 60s. The record for the day is 68 degrees, which was set back in 1930. If we end up seeing more sunshine, beating that record could be in play.

We have a better chance of setting a record on Wednesday. Actually, if the forecast verifies, we will be crushing a very old record. The record high temperature is 63 degrees set back in 1906! We are currently forecasting a high temperature of 69 degrees.

Thursday’s high temperature will happen at midnight as the cold front moves through. Even then, we COULD see a high approaching 60 degrees.

Even as the cooler air moves in, it won’t be cold. Our exclusive 10-day forecast takes us through the last day of February. The coolest temperatures will only be in the mid-40s, which is still above average for this time of year.
