    A Massachusetts man is facing numerous charges after police say he broke into nearly three dozen vehicles in Tewksbury.

    Keegan MaCrae, 23, of Tewksbury, was arrested Monday and charged with 35 counts of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle with the intent to commit a misdemeanor, 20 counts of larceny under $1200, 3 counts of attempt to commit a crime to wit breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, 5 counts of receiving stolen property under $1200, possession of a dangerous weapon (double edged machete), and possession of a class E substance (gabapentin).

    Police said over the last several weeks, vehicle breaks were reported on Summer Street, Heritage Drive, Kent Street, Marie Street, Pleasant Street, Dewey Street, Helvetia Street, Pillsbury Avenue, and Debra Drive.

    Detectives were able to zero in on MaCrae through the use of surveillance video. They also interacted with him and allegedly located some of the stolen property in his vehicle.

    Police released footage of a mother who said she accidentally left her 5-month-old in a car for half an hour in a Goodyear, Arizona, parking lot when she, her sister and other daughter went into the store. Officers are heard on camera saying it was about 99 degrees outside.

    Through the investigation, MaCrae was placed under arrest.

    MaCrae was scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court June 18. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
