This Insane Tom Brady Stat Shows His Dominance in Super Bowls

Now that he's en route to his ninth Super Bowl, no stat about Tom Brady's career can blow the minds of football fans. We've probably already seen or heard it in some way, shape or form.

Except, perhaps, for this one stat that quantifies Brady's overall impact on the Super Bowl as an event.

Pro Football Talk went down the rabbit hole and took a look at the Super Bowl records book. They found that Brady's name appears a staggering 17 times throughout. All before he plays his ninth.

Over the course of his eight previous trips, Brady became the sole holder of many Super Bowl records, including most Super Bowl appearances, most passes completed in a Super Bowl, and most touchdown passes in a Super Bowl career, to name a few. He also owns the two top spots for most passing yards in a Super Bowl for his performances in Super Bowl 52 and 53, respectively.

Brady stats can sometimes be overblown, but future fans won't even be able to open the Super Bowl records book without stumbling over his name constantly.

Come Feburary 3rd, Brady will have a chance to scatter his name even more frequently across the record books. It's up to the Rams to do something about it.
