Thousands Still Without Power in 3 New England States After Snowstorm

Thousands of northern New Englanders are still without power a day after a storm dumped heavy wet snow in parts of the region.

More than 38,000 homes and businesses in Vermont, more than 14,000 in Maine and about 8,000 in New Hampshire were without service Wednesday morning.

The snow is continuing to fall in parts of Vermont on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service says northern and parts of central Vermont are forecast to get 3 to 6 inches, with the highest amount in the mountains.
