Some old coins, photos, medals and a newspaper are among the items found in a time capsule that was buried 50 years ago in Concord, New Hampshire.

The time capsule was dug up about one year ago because of the construction on Main Street and has been displayed for a year. It was opened on Sunday.

The capsule, buried as part of the city's bicentennial celebrations, was opened at the Concord City Auditorium. The items will be displayed at the Concord Public Library.

Officials are planning to rebury the time capsule with items important to citizens today and reopen it again in 50 years.

People can submit ideas to the historical society until Oct. 1. The capsule will be put back into the ground on Nov. 7.
