A tree branch fell on two men in Boston's South End Monday night.
A man was sitting in Blackstone Square Park on Washington Street around 7 p.m. when the incident occurred. He was transported to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
A second person was later transported to Boston Medical Center due to the same incident, Boston EMS confirms.
According to the Boston Parks Department, the tree appears to be healthy and it is unknown what caused the branch to fall. The branch was cut up into sections and removed from the scene.
