A pickup truck was wedged underneath a big rig early Thursday following a car crash that was the result of an intoxicated driver, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Authorities received a report of the crash at 12:55 a.m. on Interstate 95 in Greenland. At the scene, the hood of a 2006 Dodge Dakota was tucked under the semi-truck.
An investigation determined Kyle Lehoullier, 23, of Rochester, New Hampshire, was traveling northbound in the Dodge near mile marker 12 when he lost control of his pickup truck. Lehoullier traveled from the leftmost lane of the highway across the rest of the lanes and allegedly slammed into the big rig.
The Dodge was dragged for several hundred feet before the semi-truck driver, 48-year-old Steve Mercie of Quebec, Canada, was able to come to a safe stop. The interstate was closed for approximately two hours during the investigation.
Lehoullier was treated for minor injuries at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, according to state police.
He was later arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Lehoullier was released on bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 20 at the 10th Circuit Portsmouth District Court. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
