UNH Guest Lecturers Vindicate Patriots in Deflategate

Three professors performed experiments that they say proves that weather was responsible the deflated footballs.

Three guest lecturers at a unique University of New Hampshire class claim their work has vindicated the New England Patriots of all wrongdoing in the Deflategate scandal.

Boston.com reports MIT engineering professor John Leonard was joined by UNH professors Michael Briggs and Martin Wosnik on Wednesday in leading discussion of professor Michael McCann's Deflategate course.

McCann's course examines the impact of law and journalism on sports through the lens of the controversial Deflategate scandal.

Armed with pressure gauges, buckets of cold water and footballs, the professors performed experiments for the class that they say proves that weather was responsible the Patriots' deflated footballs.

While quarterback Tom Brady famously said determining air pressure in footballs was "nerd stuff," the guest lecturers were happy to do so on his behalf.
