    Car Fire Closes Tobin Bridge

    A car caught fire on the Tobin Bridge, causing it to close briefly.

    A car fire caused the Tobin Bridge to close to traffic Thursday night, according to Massachusetts State Police.

    All lanes of the bridge between Boston and Chelsea were closed after the fire broke out.

    Shortly before 9:30 p.m., police said the northbound lanes and one southbound lane had reopened. As of around 10:15 p.m., all lanes were open.

    Police have not said what caused the fire.
